Refund Policy

Last updated 4 October 2026. This policy applies to every Private Credit Prep product sold through Gumroad: the Interview Guide, the Modeling Test and the bundle of both. Refund if a file is defective or not as described.

What you are buying

PDF and Excel files, made available the moment the payment clears. At checkout you ask for this immediate access and confirm that, once the files are available, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to distance purchases in the European Union (Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code; Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). A downloaded file cannot be returned, which is why the 17-page sample is free: read it before you pay.

When you are refunded

  • A file is missing, corrupted or will not open, and a working copy cannot be sent within 5 business days.
  • The product differs materially from its product page, for example fewer questions, case studies or model tabs than the page states.
  • You were charged twice for the same product. The duplicate order is refunded in full.

How to report a problem

Email support@privatecreditprep.com within 14 days of purchase, from the address you bought with, and include:

  • the order number shown on your Gumroad receipt;
  • the file concerned, and the page or tab where the problem appears;
  • what is wrong, with a screenshot.

You get an answer within 3 business days. The first step is always to fix or replace the file. When that is not possible, the order is refunded in full through Gumroad to the original payment method, which usually takes 5 to 10 business days to appear. A refund ends access to the files and to future updates, and the files must be deleted.

What is not refunded

  • A change of mind once the files have been made available. The files arrive instantly, so a change of mind after download is not refunded.
  • A request that does not describe a defect or a difference with the product page.
  • Not having had time to use the product, or the outcome of an interview or a recruiting process.
  • A request made more than 14 days after purchase, unless the law requires otherwise.

Payment disputes

If something is wrong, write to support first: most problems are solved the same day. A chargeback opened without contacting support is contested with the order record and the terms accepted at checkout, and it ends access to the files. The licence that comes with each purchase is described in the terms of sale.

Earlier orders and statutory rights

Orders placed before 4 October 2026 remain covered by the terms in force when they were placed. Nothing on this page limits the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content, or any right that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

The free credit memo framework and the sample are free. There is nothing to refund, and you can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
