Private Credit Prep collects what it needs to send the emails you ask for, deliver what you buy, and understand which pages are useful. It does not sell or rent personal data, and it does not use it for advertising.
What is collected, and by whom
- ResendSends the emails you asked for: the memo template, the welcome series and the monthly newsletter.Data: Email address, sign-up date and the page you signed up from. Opens are not tracked. Links in our emails pass through the site and carry a pseudonymous identifier derived from your address, so we can see which email led to a visit; the address itself is never sent to Google or Microsoft. If you are a subscriber or a customer and you read a product page or start a checkout from one of our emails without buying, you may receive one follow-up about that product, and at most one more a week later; never after a purchase, and never after you unsubscribe.
- BeehiivKeeps a copy of the subscriber list.Data: Email address and sign-up source.
- GumroadTakes payment and delivers the files. Gumroad is the seller of record and handles card details, tax and receipts; we never see a card number.Data: Name, email address, country, amount paid.
- Google Analytics 4Counts visits and measures which pages and buttons lead to a sign-up or a purchase.Data: Pages viewed, sections read and scroll depth, clicks on buttons, approximate location, device and browser, a random identifier stored in a cookie and, if you arrived from one of our emails, the same pseudonymous identifier.
- Microsoft ClarityRecords how pages are used (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling) as anonymised session replays and heatmaps, to see where a page is unclear. In the European Union and the United Kingdom it runs only after you accept it, and you can change your choice with the Recording preferences link at the foot of every page.Data: Interactions on the page, device and browser, approximate location; text typed in forms is masked and never recorded.
- VercelHosts the site.Data: Technical logs of requests (IP address, time, page requested).
When a purchase is completed, the site records it in Google Analytics as a sale with its amount, the discount code used if any, and the same pseudonymous identifier, so that the pages and emails that lead to purchases can be measured. Your name and email address are not sent to Google.
Why
Emails are sent because you asked for them, and you can stop them at any time with the unsubscribe link at the foot of every email. Purchase data is needed to deliver the product, issue receipts and meet tax obligations. Analytics serve the site's legitimate interest in knowing which content helps readers.
How long it is kept
Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Google Analytics data is kept for fourteen months.
Where it is processed
The services above are based in the United States, and data may be processed there under the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data held about you, or object to its use, by writing to support@privatecreditprep.com. Requests are answered within thirty days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
