PCPPrivate Credit Prep
Expense note

Expense it

Most desks and training budgets cover interview preparation, and at $197 the approval is usually a one-line reply. What takes time is writing the request, so here is one.

The email

Copy it, change the two brackets, send it. It is addressed to the person approving, not to you, which is why the three reasons are written from their side of the desk.

Subject: Reimbursement request, private credit interview preparation

Hi [name],

I am preparing for private credit and direct lending interviews and would like
to request reimbursement for the Private Credit Interview Guide, $197 one time.

Three reasons it is worth the line item:

1. It is credit-specific. Most interview resources are written for M&A and
private equity and leave the credit technicals uncovered: debt sizing,
downside cases, covenant questions, recovery analysis.

2. It is written by a private credit analyst from the lender's side, and it
is short: 80 questions with model answers and three full case studies,
meant to be worked through in the week before an interview.

3. It is one payment, no subscription, and the files arrive instantly.

Happy to share what I take from it with the rest of the team.

Thanks,
[your name]

What to attach

A receipt is issued automatically at purchase and is enough for most expense systems. It shows the vendor, the amount and the date. If your finance team needs an invoice with your employer's name and VAT number on it, write to support@privatecreditprep.com with the details and one will be issued.

If it is refused

Buy it yourself and keep the receipt for a later claim. Read the free sample first: the refund terms cover a defective or misdescribed file, not a change of mind after download.
